Is it safe to use glycolic peels for acne scars while using antibiotics?

Will having self harm scars decrease your chances at getting a job?
I have alot of self harm scars, i want to try to get a part time job next year when im old enough but im worried they will not accept me because of them, like they will offend people or something.

How do i remove scars from my legs?

How long after scaring can you be out in the sun without it effecting yours scars?
i was in a bad motorcycle accident and i have alot of roadrash all over the place. Some of the scars are still healing. I was told not to go out in the sun or tan because it would make the scars stand out more!!!! what can i do to make them go away or help them fade?? anything please|||I recently lost one very good friend in an MC accident, and his girl friend survived. She went into the hospital one and a half year after the accident to fix her worst scars. Now, just after the surgery, she is not very happy with her scars. They are not much better and even bigger end more red than before she say.
She came to visit in Greece last August, and she had to cover up her self to not have too much pain with the scar%26#039;s. Not to stay too long in the sun.
Why am I telling this.

A lot of people have success using the over the counter scar preparations.|||i am not completely sure, but personally, i have scars and stretch marks, and i love the tanning beds for that reason, they cover them like you wouldnt believe..i love it and havent had any issues at all.
I would give yourself time to heal...lather up on some sunscreen and use tanning beds if your looking to get that healthy glow.

If you have a date or something then try to cover up with some makeup.|||Try using St. Ives apricot scrub.
This worked for me cause I also had 2 scars(little ones) but I did not like them so I used this scrub.
It works really good for me. I got the one that say blemish removal.

Can anybody tell me anything about removing acne scars?
ok i know about dermabrasion and microdermabrasion. can anybody fill me in on these or any other methods that can be used to remove acne scarring. i%26#039;m open to suggestions. also if you%26#039;ve experienced any of these procedures would you please inform me on the price and what to expect as far as the procedure itself, results from it and how long did it take to see results.|||a cheap over counter product such as clearisil is ussually about 10-12 bucks. Use is once in the morning and once at night and try to keep the face washing 12 hours apart. If you want a acne fighter you can get benzol peroxide 10-15 bucks, ussually 2.5% works best but if you can only get 5% just mix it with mosterizer. Make sure you buy a moisterizer that wont clog poers and use it after benzol peroxide as it can dry your skin out alot, especially if you are not used to it|||Microdermabrasion, pain free non-glycolic skin peels or a form of laser treatment would be the best bet as it would slough off the scarring and dead cells and help to renew and reveal healthier skin. Prices can start at 拢50 but different treatments cost differently and sometimes a course is needed. You need a reputable Medical Clinic rather than a bog standard salon and you need to discuss with them your requirements and get an individual quote as everyone is different. Most of these procedures are painless.|||Well... I use to have acne scaring really bad until.. i went to the dermatologist and they cleaned my face and gave me a bleaching cream! It was strictly topical-no other weird applications and they reduced my scaring to barely anything!!!

How can I hide that I cut and am Bullimic from people, I have bad scars all on my arms?

Instead of thinking how to hide them you may want to think on how to stop that.
Why do you do that in the first place? You are probably sad, angry and frustrated. You probably think you are worthless and you won%26#039;t see any end to it, any light beyond the tunnel.
Well, there is a light, and there is aa way out.
Instead of hurting yourself again and again, you may go and make yourself useful to others: helping at an animal shelter, or with elder or disabled people, or people who have real problems, like hunger, drugs, poverty and abuse.
I suggest you read about the many women before you that hurt themselves or had bullimia and other problems. It is related to your genes and the way you were raised (your environment) and a deep pain you have inside. I know that, I%26#039;m a woman too and there are many ways of hurting ourselves or allowing others to hurt ourselves.
When boys get depressed, angry and frustrated, they tend to act out: hurt somebody else, even kill people (remember Columbine). But when women feel the same, we hurt ourselves (read about Angelina Jolie and how she hurt herself so much, and see how she%26#039;s dealing with anorexia now). But at least she makes herself useful to others.
It%26#039;s a long way, but believe me, it is not %26quot;hiding%26quot; how you are going to deal with the cause of it in the first place.

I suggest you read about the many women before you that hurt themselves or had bullimia and other problems. It is related to your genes and the way you were raised (your environment) and a deep pain you have inside. I know that, I%26#039;m a woman too and there are many ways of hurting ourselves or allowing others to hurt ourselves.
When boys get depressed, angry and frustrated, they tend to act out: hurt somebody else, even kill people (remember Columbine). But when women feel the same, we hurt ourselves (read about Angelina Jolie and how she hurt herself so much, and see how she%26#039;s dealing with anorexia now). But at least she makes herself useful to others.

What are some ways to limit the appearance of acne scars that are fast & work?
I don%26#039;t get many pimples at all but rarely I do when it comes to those stress related times in our lives. I used to hurt myself with scissors. I%26#039;ve quit but the scars are very noticeable, on the front of my arms and the front of my calves. What can I do about chicken pox scars?
I am an 18 year old male who got chickenpox about 4 weeks ago. On my stomach all the scabs have fallen off, the last one fell off about a week ago. And now there are these pink/brown spots were the scabs were present. I didn%26#039;t scratch them, but there are still marks. What can be done about these flat discolorations? What are the ingrediants in skin care products that help reduce the appearance of scars?
I don%26#039;t know what%26#039;s in all of those products, but honestly just use straight up Vitamin E oil. Get some gels capsules and poke a hole in one of them and apply it to your scar once a day, it works like a charm.

I have a few scars on my arm and i would like to know how to get rid of them or make them fade abit because they are bright pink at the moment. Is anyone having stiches coming out from scars after gallbladder surgery?
I had my gallbladder taken out 5 weeks ago and there are strings which appear to be stiches coming out from the inside of my scars is this normal|||I had a similar surgery. My stitches were to be dissolved. however they%26#039;ve put 3 knots along the cut. So in those areas the stitches were coming out. when I asked the doc he said not to worry about it since the stitches are dissolvable. so if yours is the same, there is no need to worry. it takes from 2-5 months for stitches to dissolve and the ones hanging out will either go in and get dissolved or will fall off.|||Uhm, I had my gallbladder out in June. They used staples on my incisions and when I got them out I never had anything coming from the inside of the scars. If it%26#039;s red or sore or just irritated, you really need to get that checked out by the surgeon.

Any creative tattoo ideas to cover up scars?
I have scars on my wrist. Some are very faded, but three are very red, all in the same area and all vertical. I never really wanted any tattoos in such a noticeable place, but as far as work goes, I won%26#039;t be able to show my wrist with scars on it anyway so I might as well cover it up. So like a year ago i had a really stress ful month and started breaking out on my right arm bicep area on top. I have a lot of awful scars from that and i am so self consious from it. They will probably prescribe accutane for you. I’m not sure what you’ve heard, If its dangerous etc, but it is the only product on the market proven to work. Like every medication it has its side effects etc, but it really works. I had terrible acne on my back, chest, and face. After 2 months, I no longer get pimples, and all of my old ones are gone, I just have a bit of scaring still on my face and back which get better and fainter all the time. Mederma is a great product for fading scars too and can be found at any pharmacy/drugstore.
Of course, some parents don’t think it’s best to take their kids to a dermatologist and you have to respect their wishes. One thing I found that worked really great for me just at home using simple products was this daily routine:
1. Take a shower when you wake up in the morning and make sure to wash your face, chest, back and any other acne trouble spots with a mild bar soap. (I would recommend cetaphil, you can buy it at any drug store, cvs, etc. it costs about $5) Make sure to keep your hair clean, and wash the rest of you too.
2. When you get home from school remove all make-up. No one is going to see you except you’re family.
3. Every afternoon when you’re done homework, put on running shoes, and play clothes, and get active. 20 minutes on a tredmill, at the gym, or outside playing your favorite sport will actually help. Make sure you work hard enough to sweat. Sweating is good.
4. When you come back from getting some fresh air, go take a shower. Sweating releases all the oil in your pores, along with any dirt. But if you don’t clean it off, it will get stuck right back in the pores, causing more acne. Make sure to run hot water on your skin which opens the pores even more before scrubbing. Then when done run cold water all over your body for a minute, to close the pores back up. You don’t have to wash your hair both 2 times a day, try just keeping it up until the next morning.

I was thinking of getting Bio Oil but i want make sure.|||I use aloe and coco butter. bio oil works really good so get it.|||Vitamin E. you can purchase the capsules for oral ingestion at your local GNC and the best way i prefer to use the oil on scars is just by breaking the pill open and rubbing it directly onto the scar/stretchmark/via whatever it may be. also palmers cocoa butter is a good aid in scarring adn stretching as well. they make a vitamin e oil spray for pregnant woman that i have found to be incredible on scars and stretch marks.|||So far from wat Ive read Bio oil works great for stretch marks!:D It wont heal them fully like if you were to get it done by laser but it will make it 85% better.... You have to be consistent with it though, every night, no skipping day :)|||palmers cocoa butter

Thanks|||i got bio-oil ages ago however when i tired it my skin got very red a slightly itchey ( an allergy probably). so maybe people with sensitive skin should use it cautiously.
however it it relatively cheap and it seems to be available in most chemists and health food shops here so if it for sale in ireland it must definently be available in the uk maya!!
