What can I do about chicken pox scars?

I got chicken pox as a kid, and they%26#039;ve left these annoying marks (the ones on my face are almost crater-like and the two which are on my stomach look like white lumps). My mum will never buy treatment for it, and she says there%26#039;s nothing I can do about them.
