How do you get rid of scars?

I have had a scar on my hand for ten years already. It won%26#039;t go away! I tried everything and its being stubborn.|||scars are forever, thats why they%26#039;re scars.|||the best way to get rid of scars is to prevent them. while a wound is healing, keep it super moisturized all the time. i use cheap lip-balm or vaseline if the cut is small enough.


if youre talking about removing them, i had a 4-year-old scar removed from my leg about 3 years ago, using a laser. after the treatment, i kept lotion on it consistently for like 3 weeks. the laser hurt like all hell, but it definitely worked.


i think the laser is called a Fraxel? i%26#039;m not sure, but ask a dermatologist about it.|||There are tattoo artist that use natural color inks to do permanent make-up on scars, and it can be very effective and much much cheaper than laser surgery. A small scar can be hidden for less than $150. It won%26#039;t be a tattoo you can see, bt a skin colored one. FInd someone who specializes in that and look at their work. If it isn%26#039;t something you like then laser removal is still an option even if you get the cover tattoo.|||I%26#039;ve heard poking a hole in a vitamin E pill and spreading the stuff on the scar helps. . no idea if it works.|||u dont
