okay, I was playing scorpion with this girl and I lost. The wound was cut pretty deep. 8 weeks later i still have the scar. Is there anyway to get rid of it or will time take care of it?|||Bio oil is brilliant for getting rid of scars|||I%26#039;ve had lots of experience with digging fingers into my arm and peeling off some of the skin. It doesn%26#039;t even bleed, but the dent, the redness, and the new skin took over two weeks to heal the few times it happened.
If yours was deep, it%26#039;d take a long, long time, well over two months.|||you know the head on stuff (with the annoying commercial)? that same company makes something for scars, its called Prefer On, i am sure you can find it at any drug store. hope it gets better =]|||You might try vitamin E oil - get some from the pharmacy area at the drugstore, then just open up a capsule and spread a bit of the oil on the scar each day.|||go to dermatologist if you are that concerned. there may even be some over the counter scar removers|||I%26#039;ve found light scars like you%26#039;re describing eventually disappear of their own accord. I have a cut on my finger from an accident in the kitchen when I was 12 %26amp; that scar has never gone but I guess it had to have been of a certain depth to stick around as a permanent scar. I have no idea what scorpion is but if it%26#039;s only an injury caused by a fingernail it will disappear in time. If it%26#039;s taking a long time you might be deficient in zinc (zinc causes skin wounds to heal) so maybe get a zinc vitamin supplement? There is also a product called Bio-Oil that is said to get rid of scars, although it%26#039;s debatable %26amp; I%26#039;m not sure if they sell it in your country. Where is the scar? If it%26#039;s on your face I can understand the worry, but otherwise so what if it doesn%26#039;t heal anyway? If it%26#039;s that bad there is laser treatment %26amp; all sorts of stuff like that you can research on the internet, but it might be expensive. You could see your doctor or dermatologist for advice too.
