What can I use to cover my acne and acne scars?

My skin is super sensitive so I usually don%26#039;t use makeup (since it oftentimes makes the condition of my face worse) to cover my acne (about 6 pimples at all times...super annoying but mild, I guess). However, I%26#039;m getting really sick of taking great care of my face and having nothing to show for it. Going to the dermatologist is not an option because my mom doesn%26#039;t believe in that stuff and won%26#039;t bring me/let me go. She says I will just grow out of it and that I notice it more than other people. I%26#039;m getting depressed about this and I%26#039;m ready to just take the plunge and buy something to cover it up. Any product recommendations would be great.
