Is there a way to make my scars appear less visible?

Burn scars, actually.

I was at work today and something fell into the hot 350 degree oil, which then splashed literally all over my right arm. There%26#039;s little spots all over plus one huge spot on my wrist area where it was hit harder. Thank god I%26#039;m use to burns at work, or it%26#039;d probably hurt twice as much. =]

Anyway, if this leaves burn scars, it%26#039;s going to be ugly. Any way I can help with this?|||If this just happened today then you still have time to treat it with no scarring or very little scarring. I work with a Dermatologist and deal with burns quite frequent. You will need to buy some products at any pharmacy. It works!

Steps:

1. Adaptic Gauze ( its a regular guaze wointmentling oitment)

Ointmentphor Oitment ( buy in tube for less contamination)

3. Telfa pad ( dressing to cover)

4. Paper tape to hold in place.

Do this on a daily basis until healed. Usually it takes 1-2 weeks to heal. You can clean it with mild soap.

Alot of patients are happy with this healing technique.

Let me know how it goes. Good luck|||Mederma is good. After the scars form it helps it fade a ton. Only thing is that you have to remember to put it on often and it%26#039;s a little pricey sometimes.

:)|||ok, first only take cold showers....i know that wont feel to good but it will help, then you can use a cotton ball to dap milk on your arm. then use some regular burn medicine

-hope it gets better =)
