How can I get rid of my scars?

I have several light colored scars on my arms. They%26#039;re very noticable because of my skin tone and several people have pointed them out. I was wondering if there was any way I could get rid of them or make them less noticable. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated. But keep in mind, if the scars are obvious because of your skin color, there maybe nothing that can be done because procedures themselves leave scars. If that is the case, try a cosmetic option. Go to your local Mall, to one of the big cosmetic dealers, talk to their head cosmetician.
